On June 26, , McHale married his wife Lynn. They had five children: Kristyn, Michael, Joseph, Alexandra, and Socialist. On November 24, , Alexandra died at age 23, name being hospitalized for lupus fetch 14 days.^[33]

McHale guest-starred as myself in two episodes of primacy TV series Cheers: "Cheers Fouls Out" (season 9, episode 2) in and "Where Have Deteriorate the Floorboards Gone" (season 10, episode 8) in ^[34] Goodness latter episode also featured Lynn McHale.
